Race Packs
**ALL RACE PACKS ARE TO BE COLLECTED ON THE DAY**
Collection Times:
8:30 – 9:30am
All entries will be assigned a number. To collect your number you need to make your way down to the collection desks on Sunday morning. It will take around 15 minutes to collect your number. The earlier you get there, the more efficient we will be on the day. You will only need one number attached to the front of your shirt. If you have your own pins then that would be great but we will have supplies if needed.
Your timing chip will be attached to the bottom of your race bib. Please remove the strip and attach it to your shoe shiny side up as per the instructions on the back of the chip. Please make sure you keep your number on at all times during the race. At the finish, you can dispose of your chip (we do not need to collect them back).
IMPORTANT:
When you receive your race packs, please take a couple of minutes to fill out the brief runner information form which can be found printed on the back of your bib. This will help us greatly in case of an emergency!
Travel
If you have a sat nav or mapping device we recommend simply popping the postcode LE12 5SH into that and following the instructions given. The entrance is Prestwold Driving Centre, which is approximately half a mile north of the main entrance to the hall. Use the What3Words ///brew.slices.utensil for the exact location.
Please arrive within plenty of time as the parking is a 10 minute walk from the event village.
As you get closer to Prestwold Hall, there will be road signs and marshals to direct you into the car park.
Toilets
There will be portable toilets available to use. For exact toilet location, use the W3W ///quote.pylon.twitches. Please ensure social distancing measures are followed when queueing.
Baggage
We will have an informal baggage drop for this event. We recommend you bring as little baggage as necessary and leave belongings in your car where possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to the baggage staff and they will help you find your baggage.
During the race
Each kilometre will be marked out and there will be plenty of marshals to keep you on track.
Please note that there are some sections of uneven terrain and the start/finish area is on loose stones. Please be careful on these sections.
Spitting and nasal clearance during the race are NOT permitted.
If you need to overtake on the course please be sure to take a wide berth around the runner in front.
Please discard any water bottles or rubbish near the course signs and bins during the race.
Results
Results will be available on www.leicestershire10k.com after the race.

We will have a photographer taking a few snaps of the race and they will be available to view here after the race so be sure to check it out and see if you can spot yourself.

Spectators are more than welcome to come along and support runners.
Refreshments
Please bring your own water to the event to avoid congestion on the course, there will be a water station on course. We recommend staying hydrated in the lead-up to the event.

After the race
Do NOT stop within the finish area. Please continue through the finish until you pass the medals and are in an open space.
There will be sealed ACTIPH water bottles at the finish for each runner to collect along with your medal and Love Corn which will be laid out on tables for you to help yourself.
